Choose your preferred bird- bluebird or chickadee.  Bluebirds get a 1.5" entry hole, while chickadees prefer a smaller 1.25" entry hole. 

Each house is glued for strength, and has drainage and ventilation holes.  One screw can be removed to hinge open the front to check on nests, clean out old nests, or remove undesirable nests (like sparrows, though they should avoid these houses as the entry hole is a bit small.)
